Ghetto/urban acting cliques & the classic stereotypical "rich snobby populars". More similar than u think?
The ghetto fabulous culture trend is a phenomenon over the past years, & I have noticed that they are similar in behavior to the snobby prep stereotypes played on TV. Maybe they don't talk like the stereotypical white blonde valley girls or are always rich, but they do exclude people, think they are above other people, and there is even much anti-white, anti-mixed (if you are mixed with white), anti-asian, racism with many of the black & latino kids who emulate these types. Do you think the stereotypical rich, popular "preppy" snobs and a lot of the popular, ghetto fabulous types are more similar personality wise than different aside from style, taste, speech & music? I think so...

but to answer your question,, no the thugs are more racist and bigger losers, if the preps come off snobby, mabybe they are just guarded , and since they have money or care about school and finacial success, which is a good thing, they get labeled the snobs or arrogant, I went to a competitve prep school for two years and hated it until I realized the reason I hated it was becuase these people worked harder then me and didn't blame thier problems on stupid things,,which I was used to back home in the 'hood'
