Did Brack Ojama get called out by BCS director J Hancock?
Obama stated he was going to push his weight around to get the BCS to implement a playoff system last year. A letter from the justice dept. was sent to Utah senator Hatch stating that they may look into the matter.
This is the response for the BCS:
"There is much less to this letter than meets the eye. The White House knows that with all the serious issues facing the country, the last thing they should do is increase the deficit by spending money to investigate how the college football playoffs are played," the statement continued. "With all due respect to Senator Hatch, he is overstating this importance of the letter he received from the Office of Legislative Affairs."
Doesn't sound like they are too concerned about what this administration has to say. I guess since the government can step in with title 9 they can pretty much tell anyone what to do if they want. How far do u think Obama will really go to push this agenda?
Not going to happen. While I agree the BCS is a joke and needs a major overhaul, the government has more important things to worry about. In fact, a poll showed it that 60% of the fans surveyed said that the BCS does need change, but should be done without the interference of the federal government.
